Sacha lodge

We just got back from Sacha lodge in the amazon. It was a lot of fun but you walked every day for about two hours, it got tiresome. I need to catch up on some sleep. We saw all kinds of monkyes and birds there. The food was also very good. We are now in Quito for three more days until we get on the yacht. We are having a great time.

The Begining

We are in Quito Ecuador and have just finished checking in. the past few days have been a blur of action. When we left the school on Wednesday afternoon we drove to bolder at at a parents friends house. There we had a going away party at an old restaurant. The next day we got to the Denver airport and took two flights. One was to Dallas which took two hours and the second flight was to Miami that took another two hours. We only barely made it to the Miami flight even after running. We spent the night there and in the morning met the rest of the family at the airport. We then flue to Quito and drove in a bus to the tallest building in sight, our hotel. It was a 20 story high building. That is where I am typing this. Do not expect the next one so soon.

What I know of the plan

On December 17th I am driving to Denver CO where i will have a going away party with my parents friends and spending the night. The next day we will get on a plane to Miami FL which will take about 3.5 hours. There we are connecting with the rest of our family then we will be a group of 12 to 13 i am not positive which one. That is my moms side but we are also visiting my dads side wile we are there, there not coming on the trip though. In Miami we will spend the night. The next morning we will fly to Quito the capital of Ecuador and that flight will take about 5 hours, at least it wasn't as long as going to Africa. We will spend a few days there then fly out to the Galapagos which are on the coast of Ecuador. When we get their we will then take a first class personnel yacht to the 13 islands and spend a day on each of them. We will lost of snorkeling for the 5 weeks we are there. Once our non immediate family leaves we will attend Spanish school for a few more days in Cuenca. We then fly into Santiago Chile then fly to Puerto Montt. We will spend 5 weeks down there boating the Futalefu river, biking, skiing, climbing, surfing, and exploring. Then we take a lot of short flights to Denver CO, spend the night and come home just in time for CSAP.

For anyone that needs or wants to know when I'm leaving I posted this blog. I am leaving on the 17th of December.
